Jamie is an incredibly talented and dynamic songwriter and producer hailing from Surrey, UK, who has taken the indie/pop/acoustic scene by storm amassing over 7 million streams online. Playing bass, double bass, guitar, keyboards, and clarinet, he is a true virtuoso of his craft.
He began his journey in his own bedroom, honing his skills and collaborating with his first band, The Blue Pursuit. Initially as a promoter, running events across London it wasn't long before his musical prowess caught the attention of industry professionals, landing him a coveted position as a runner and assistant engineer at State of The Ark Studios in Richmond, where he worked on high-profile projects alongside the likes of MyRiot (Walking on Cars, James Morrison) and Omar Hakim. Then after progressing to in house engineer at Domino Record’s (Publishing), runner and assistant at Metropolis Studios, Strongroom Studios, Tileyard Studios, and SugarHill Studios. |
As a highly sought-after session musician, Jamie has had the privilege of performing with some of the biggest names in the business, including Tom Grennan, Nilufer Yanya, Westerman, Rhumba Club, Little Mountain (Ross from Morcheeba), and Bea Munro. He has played at some of London's most iconic venues, such as the O2 Brixton Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire, as well as touring throughout Europe. Using his experience in the industry, Jamie continues to inspire the next generation having done public speaking at local schools and colleges including Oxted School and Reigate College. At only 28 years of age, with his unique sound, extraordinary talent, and unbridled passion for music, Jamie is definitely one to watch. |
