Considering there has been 2 lockdowns this year, things haven't been busier for me. Luckily I have been still able to work through the current crisis using an app called AudioMovers. This app is able to stream audio from you DAW in real time and leaves you able to work communicating through Zoom, Facetime, Facebook or Whatsapp. I've been able to continue my production with artists and even booked over 20 writing sessions with artists such as Mellah, Sara Diamond and VC Pines. This has also opened up the possibility of writing with people I couldn't of imagined of working with due to distance, with sessions with artists in America, Edinburgh and Manchester.
Ive learnt that even in a crisis, you just have to push through and adapt. Considering I had such a terrible year personally last year, this year has been quite easy for me if I'm honest.
One thing I miss most, is going to gigs. This always been the best place to meet new artists and bands who are currently working in the music scene. I was lucky enough to go to an event in between lockdowns at The Bedford in Balham where I saw Luke White who I have also started writing with.
Fortunately we now have a vaccine in the horizon, which I'm sure will see an end to COVID-19 and the stresses of lockdown.
Leave a comment bellow, I would love to know how` you're coping with lockdown and this year.
